God’s timing is always right on time! 20 years ago today we both said “I do” and throughout all those years at the times we slipped and fell, rose up or stumbled or triumphed she’s been my ride or die!!
If I have to sum it all up in one word that word would be CHANGE. We have been the sower, the water, the soil that has allowed the tiny seeds we were when we reconnected in our mid-20’s grow to the extremely strong, well-rooted trees we’ve become. Yes, we used to ride the school bus together back in our Elementary days, but I moved away to NC, and upon my return to Hilliard in 10th grade she moved and attended Westland. It was perfect timing to allow us to grow independently on our own and then God said “now you’re ready” in our mid-20’s. Two wonderful and tough kids (just like both of us) that we produced together along with all the adventures we’ve been through I am grateful for it all. It’s been a lot but she’s the one for me whatever the adventures we have had or the rest to come, I wake up grateful everyday that I found this one for the rest of my days!!
We honeymooned to Niagara Falls 20 years ago, so it was time for us to return this time no high end hotel, just us, our cute little camper, hiking and enjoying the wonders of God’s creation together again.
