One of the things I’ve been doing lately is reading and listening to audiobooks from the late Zig Ziglar. If you’ve never listened to him and want to learn more about passion, success, personal growth, and serving others, I highly recommend it. His wisdom is timeless, and even though I never had the opportunity to meet him personally, he has had a profound impact on my life.
One of Zig’s most famous quotes is:
“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”
As I reflect on that quote, I can’t help but think about the many teachers, coaches, mentors, business leaders, friends, and family members who have poured into me throughout my life. They invested their time, wisdom, encouragement, and belief in me long before I fully understood the impact it would have.
Because of them, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to lead.
I have the privilege of leading my family, guiding my children as they grow into adulthood, supporting my wife through life’s adventures, leading an incredible team at the office, serving alongside trusted business partners, and contributing to the networking groups and communities I’m fortunate to be a part of.
What I’ve learned is that leadership isn’t about titles or recognition. It’s about service. It’s about helping others achieve their goals, overcome obstacles, and become the best version of themselves.
That is where I find my passion.
It’s also how I intend to continue living my life and running my business. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank every person who has helped shape me into who I am today. And I want to thank each of you who continue to trust me and my team with one of the most important financial decisions of your life.
