As I sit here on Thanksgiving Day, reflecting on all the wonderful things that happened this past year, I am moved by the gratitude I feel.

Recently one of my mentors challenged me to think of 100 things I am grateful for and write them down. He told me to post my list in my office, my car, my bathroom, or wherever I might see it each morning.

My routine is now to look at my list of 100 things that I am grateful for every day. This has been a great exercise and I wanted to share with you my top 10 and encourage you to create your own list this holiday season, but more importantly to reflect on them daily. You see, it’s difficult to harbor anger, malice, depression, anxiety, or you name it, when you start your day reading the things you are grateful for.

My top 10:

  • My relationship with Jesus
  • My relationship with my wife Mindy
  • My relationship with my kids Kaden and Ella
  • My relationship with my parents Greg and Marcia
  • My relationship with my siblings Bryan, Charity, and Alexis
  • My employees Sara, Katie, Billy, Michelle, and Jacob
  • My AmSpirit Group
  • My mentors Rick Ruby, Roy Mason, and Daniel Sa
  • All the coaches and staff at The Core Training
  • My purpose OPM^2 & OPS^2 (Other People’s Money & Mortgage and Other People’s Success & Salvation)

I highly encourage you to reflect on what you are grateful for each day. If we all prioritized gratitude, I can promise our joy and kindness would be infectious. The ripple effect could change the planet, one “thank you” or “I appreciate you” message at a time!!

PS – #11 – My virtual assistant (Alissa Berzak) who helped me with this Letter of the Heart!! 😊

Best Always,

Instead of being ashamed of failure, you should acknowledge it, accept it, learn from it, even celebrate it. That’s how you pave a path to success
