Fun Facts for Independence Day!
I’d like to share with you a piece of history you might find interesting (or at least you’ll have something to talk about at your 4th of July BBQ this year!)
The $2 bill is the ONLY bill in our currency where the person on the front of the bill is the same as the person on the back!
On the front of the bill, there is a picture of Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd President of the United States. On the back of the bill, Thomas Jefferson and the 2nd President of the United States, John Adams. can be seen signing the Declaration of Independence.
John Adams & Thomas Jefferson have a COUPLE things in common:
• Both were US Presidents, the only Presidents who signed the Declaration of Independence.
• They died on the same day, July 4th, within 3 hours of each other, exactly 50 years after signing the Declaration of Independence.
These men chose to change and grow, rather than accept! We have those same choices. We are free to be in any mutual relationship, have any hobby, take any opportunity & ultimately become anything we want because of those freedoms! We can make a change and grow in any situation, which takes courage to face our fears!
